Summer Reading @ The Library  

All Ages are Welcome to Participate Join “Catch the Reading Bug!” this summer at the Garden City Library and discover the amazing world of insects.  The 2008 Summer Reading Program is open to all ages, with prizes, drawings, story hours, reading club, movies and much more.  Registration for Summer Reading begins June 2nd. Stop by The Library and pick up a form.  For more information, call The Library at 472-2944 or go to www.NotAQuietLibrary.org . All programs are free of charge. 

Weekly Program Schedule (June 2nd-August 5th):

Monday:

  • Tiny to Two @ 10am (ages 0-2)
  • Make and Take @ 4pm (ages 6+)

Tuesday:

  • Movie Madness @ 2pm (ages 8+)
  • Teen Tuesday @ 4pm (ages 13-19)
  • Chess @ 6pm (ages 3+)

Wednesday:

  • Music and Movement @ 10am (ages 3-5)
  • To Be Continued (reading club) @ 6pm (All ages)

Thursday:

  • Toddler Tales @ 10am (ages 2-5)
  • Family Game Night @ 6pm (All ages)

Friday:

  • Bilingual Storytime @ 1pm

Saturday:

  • Bugs on the BIG SCREEN @ 1pm (Starting June 21st)

 Special Programs include:

June 7th: Puppet Show @ 12pm
June 11th – Books and Brushes @ 5:30pm
June 14th - Circus @ 10am

June 19th – Anatomy of a Book Deal @ 6pm
June 24thBoise River Lecture Series: The Wild Boise River @ 6pm
July 31st – Concert: Finn Riggins @ 6pm
August  2nd – Puppet Show @ 12pm
August 5th – Concert: Eric Herman @ 5pm
