Summer Reading Fun June 2 - August 5, 2008!

Come in and get a registration/tracking form, or print one from home. Keep track of your reading and then redeem your prizes! Every time you redeem a prize, your name is entered for grand prize drawings held at the end of Summer Reading in August. CLICK HERE to print forms and find out more info!

School-age children and families are invited to join us for this fun weekly chapter-book read! Wednesdays @ 6pm!

Did you miss Make and Take?

Kids 1st grade & up can participate Mondays at 4pm in "Make and Take" a Science, Art and Activity time at The Library! Pictured here "Mentos and Soda" experiments by the river.

First Tuesday of the Month:Teens interested in creative writing and media arts in general, meet and exchange ideas. If you are an artist or writer and are interested in publishing your work in our in-house magazine, Xeenage (written and published for teens, by teens), drop in @ 4pm 

Second & Third Tuesday of the Month: Wii - Join us for Wii wackiness @ The Library! 4pm

Fourth Tuesday of the Month:  TBA craft/activity for Teens. 4pm

"Bike Month" was a HUGE success thanks to all the Garden City Library patrons who faithfully walked or rolled into The Library during the month of May! We had 197 entries over the month of May, and 3 very happy winners. We couldn’t have done this without the support of Boise Bike Project! Thanks to everyone who participated! Summer Reading @ The Library  

All Ages are Welcome to Participate Join “Catch the Reading Bug!” this summer at the Garden City Library and discover the amazing world of insects.  The 2008 Summer Reading Program is open to all ages, with prizes, drawings, story hours, reading club, movies and much more.  Registration for Summer Reading begins June 2nd.
